New-customer pricing: I rotate identities every year

Ok lah my technique very simple leh. Every year new email + privacy.com card + different browser profile. Can get new-customer price from same provider lor. Already 4 years running on HostHatch and CloudCone. They never catch. Wife, cousin, brother-in-law, then back to myself. Hokkien say: 換湯不換藥. Same person different name only.

This is a Terms of Service violation on every provider I've reviewed, and it creates deliverability problems you haven't considered. When you rotate identities, you're rotating from-scratch domain reputation with every new account. Your SPF records don't transfer. Your IP warming cycle resets. For what it's worth, I've seen "new" accounts on shared hosts immediately inherit bad neighborhood reputation because the previous identity got the IP range blacklisted at Spamhaus. You're not saving money—you're gambling with inbox placement.

We've reviewed this thread. While account rotation isn't something we can endorse, we want to address the underlying concern directly.

New-customer pricing exists because we model for approximately 60% annual churn anyway. The discount is acquisition cost, not sustainable pricing. Returning customers at renewal price are, economically, subsidizing the marketing spend.

We don't actively hunt rotated identities. We do reserve right to terminate for ToS violations. If you want stable pricing, our KnownHost brand offers it explicitly—no introductory discounts, same rate year two.

This is a business model problem industry-wide, not unique to us.

Mark my words: the providers who model 60% churn are also the ones that fold in eighteen months when acquisition costs outrun retention. I've seen this cycle for 20 years in this business. The race to the bottom ends with everyone holding worthless annual prepay credits on dead hosts. Rotate all you want—the scrap gods remember who paid fair.

Wesh incha'allah the price stays low. But le admin is honest here, no? « c'est la vie ». I did the rotation with RackNerd, mas after 3 years they catch me and suspend all accounts. Le server was حلو but now I pay full price. Not worth the stress, na ?

Admin admitting the churn model is refreshingly honest tbh

Spf records don't transfer? What about dedicated IP, I always get one
