My RIPE application didnt get rejected on first try
Cara I applied for ASN and IPv6 block and they APPROVED man!!! I was going to cry when I see the email!!! This is going to change my life

Thank you to everyone here who help me with the paperwork!!! I am going to announce via Contabo and OVHcloud already!!!

Congrats. Pro tip: set up your RPKI immediately before announcing. Heads up, Oracle Cloud free tier offers free BGP sessions if you want to multihome later.
Steps:
1. Create ROAs in RIPE
2. Sync to your RIR trust anchor
3. Test with Vultr looking glass — https://www.vultr.com
4. Announce only after validation passes

The ticket said... "your ASN is being used to originate 1.1.1.0/24"
Turns out the applicant fat-fingered their first prefix announcement. RIPE didnt reject them, but their upstreams RIR filter did. Took six tickets to explain what an IRR was.
Enjoy the approval. The real fun starts now.
