So I rent two server from RackNerd, cheap plan, run wordpress for client. Yesterday get email: account suspend, violation ToS section 14.3. I ask "which part?" they say "we cannot disclose, review complete." I have NO SPAM, NO TOR, just wordpress blog and small shop. Client angry, I angry. This legal? How I get my data back? I have backup but is two week old. Two week of order lost if cannot get current database. Anyone face this before? Any tactic to make them talk?

Cat /var/log/mail.log | grep "sent mail"

I run this, see NOTHING suspicious. Will check again tonight. Really worry now. XD not the happy kind.

Two weeks? Verify your restores weekly. I knew a guy who had "backups" for three years, needed them, corrupted tapes. Career ended.

This smells like compromised wordpress sending spam. Happens silently. Check your mail queue before they wipe it. Also: they owe you data under GDPR if you're EU, but most cheap hosts ignore until lawyer letter. Get everything in writing. Screenshot the ticket portal—they love to "lose" messages.
