Xixixi true true. But my rack is in wardrobe with BIG hole and small fan also. No dead drive yet. Maybe I am lucky only.

This is why I say check heat. SMART is your friend. I have sensor inside cabinet, alarm if more than 45 celsius. The foam must not block the air, only the sound. Cabinet door open 5cm, partner not notice.
Or you could stop treating your home like a datacenter and rent actual colo. Helsinki has plenty. Your partner stays, your drives stay cool, you stop posting about IKEA furniture.
Colo in Jakarta starts around $80/month for 1U last I checked. T410 is 5U tower, so that's not happening. Cheaper to buy Noctua and a cabinet.

Thank you all for many advice. I am search Noctua now, price is okay lah. Also I am check SMART already, temperature 52C when idle. Maybe too hot? I think cabinet with fan is good plan. Partner still angry but I am show this thread, say "see, many people same like me!" Not work yet. Wkwkwk.

52 idle is warm. Mine sits at 38 with Noctua, same generation Xeon. Worth the swap.
