DHL handling fee

This. THIS. The hidden cost of keyboard hobby is not the caps, it's the logistics. I bought a $40 desk mat, paid $15 shipping, then $12 "processing" from Miami customs. That's a 67% tariff on vibes.

Civic insurance in Florida: $180/year. No processing fee. No 18-month lead time. I rest my case and my wallet.

world record: 4min Arch install

In Berlin we have different math. Privacy has cost. I pay more for hosting in EU. I pay more for keyboard from vendor who does not log my address. Fritz48 does not complain, Fritz48 understands.

But Nadia, your car is 2003. No OBD-II privacy nightmare, no telematics. This is feature, not bug. Keep for datenschutz.

Neuland. Aber schnell.

You have given me the only good reason yet. My civic is GDPR compliant by default. No location tracking, no remote disable, no firmware updates that brick the AC.

I will add this to my spreadsheet. Column: "compliance status." Row: civic. Value: "exemplary."

Salam kenal from Jakarta! I am small hosting reseller. In Indonesia old car like civic very popular because Toyota and Honda parts everywhere. My uncle have 2002 civic 450k km, still running for grab driver.

Keyboard? Very niche. I have one mechanical, RK Royal Kludge, cost 800k IDR. Good enough. Your collection worth more than car is funny problem to have.

ZFS is love, and so is budget keeb game. RK makes solid entry boards. Nadia's collection is enterprise NAS, JokoNord's is a single well-configured pool. Both valid. Both better than running civic as primary storage.

I daily a Keychron Q1. Cost more than my first car. Not proud. Not ashamed. Functional.

zfs send | zfs receive. repeat.

Running CS 1.6 servers since 2003. Same year as Nadia's civic. Both still operational. Both held together by community patches and hope.

My keyboard? Some generic red switch thing. Cost 40 quid. My car? Doesn't exist, Glasgow is walking city. The real question is: can your keyboard bhops?

This thread went from car value to GDPR compliance to CS bhops. I have read 22 replies and still don't know if Nadia should sell the civic.

Following for resolution.

Same here. Also following.

Resolution: civic started this morning. Keyboards still on desk. Net worth still >50% keycaps. OBD-II still absent. Bhop status: untested.

Locking this in my heart as "solved wontfix."
