Did anyone here actually land a working VPS in Africa outside of the free-tier lottery
I looked at GreenCloudVPS and HostHatch last year but their "Singapore" plans were just EU IPs with high latency routed through London, actual African DC presence was basically a fiction
Contabo at least admits upfront they only have Morocco which is technically Africa but the peering to sub-saharan routes is rough
Did anyone here actually get the Oracle Johannesburg free tier to work in the end? I have been retrying on and off for weeks and it always says capacity exhausted

For paid options I looked at GreenCloudVPS and HostHatch but neither lists an African location on their site, has anyone heard if they are planning expansion? I would rather pay a small monthly than keep fighting Oracle's slot lottery
I've been looking at GreenCloudVPS and RackNerd but neither list African locations on their sites 416 days later and Oracle free tier is still a lottery from what I hear
