Shared IPv4 with dedicated IPv6 block

Need this for email reputation. The ticket said "your IPv4 is on 47 blacklists" from a previous tenant. Classic.

IPv6 is clean but some recipients still can't handle it. Need shared IPv4 for fallback that isn't poisoned, plus my own /64 or larger so I control the reputation.

Contabo says they dont segment that way. OVHcloud wants enterprise pricing for a dedicated v4. Hostinger laughed at me, then sent a quote.

Anyone found a provider doing this hybrid setup? Or do I tunnel my own /48 from HE.net and call it a day?

reported. resolved. repeat.

Colo it somewhere with your own ASN.

  • 2x E5-2680v4
  • 128GB DDR4
  • 10Gbps NIC
  • IPMI working

Run your own /48. No provider games.

The shared IPv4 is impossible to find clean, all the IP already burned by spammers on cheap hosts

You want dedicated /48? HE.net tunnel is the only way, bisous

But they block mail ports on tunnel, no? Your host will need relay setup

world record: 4min Arch install

@adam20 My nephew set this up for our shop. We have the internet box from Comcast Business and he said we have IPv6 already but I dont see it. Is that the same thing?

We use InterServer for our website. They gave us a control panel. I think it has 2GB of RAM but the storage is 20GB. Or is that backwards?

Can I just call InterServer and ask for the IPv6 block? They are very nice on phone.

Same blacklist problem. Contabo told me "nothing we can do".

HE.net tunnel for production mail? That sounds like a headache.
