Looking for hiking trails near data centers

I have a weekend hobby of combining trail runs with infrastructure tourism. The virtualization tax on my weekdays is high enough that I need outdoor recovery time, but I still want to look at cooling towers and substations. Anyone found good trails with actual data center visibility? Not interested in the facility tours, I want the natural vantage point. Kernel of the request: elevation plus line of sight to interesting mechanical infrastructure. Prefer regions with OpenVZ-free hosting markets so I don't have to think about cgroup limits on my day off.

We have found that the industrial corridor east of the river has several converted rail trails with clear sightlines to a few facilities. The cooling tower profiles are visible from roughly two kilometers on the ridge path. We do not name specific clients, but we have walked this route ourselves. The trail surface is well maintained.
