I tried their block storage, in Las Vegas. $5 for 250GB, hard to beat. The VPS itself is $2, so $7 total for a small seedbox, pretty solid.
But watch out, the block storage isn't included in the DDoS filtering. I read that on their wiki, not obvious at first.
Good catch. That's the kind of detail that matters. Their filtering only covers the VPS NIC, anything mounted over iSCSI is outside that path.
I run a small game server on the $3.50 plan in Miami. Latency to Brazil is surprisingly okay, better than my old RackNerd LA box was.

I looked at them for GPU passthrough but they don't offer it. Ended up on Vultr for that. The Tokyo location is just my residential fiber, nothing to do with BuyVM.

Correct, no GPU. I asked sales last year before I built my own box here. They were straight about it, no upsell, which I appreciated.
For pure CPU/ram per dollar they're competitive with Contabo's lower tiers, and you actually get the resource instead of fighting the noisy neighbor lottery.
