Never heard of them. Check the PWM spec carefully, some cheap fans claim 4-pin but the fourth pin is not actually connected to anything, it is just a tachometer. True PWM varies voltage on pin 4. If it is fake PWM you will get 100% or nothing.

Also sleeve bearing at 25 USD is a ripoff even in Argentina. Noctua is expensive because it lasts. Cheap sleeve bearing dies in 18 months of server duty.

Have you tried restarting it?

I run Noctua in Madrid, but for a client in Argentina I looked around and AireMax is a local PC fan brand, not server-grade. The bearing won't hold up 24/7. Better to order Noctua off Amazon ES and use forwarding, comes out about the same and lasts years.

I run cheap dedicated servers in Wrocław, mostly Contabo and Hetzner. For fan noise I do not care, they are in datacenter. But I pay in EUR and the exchange rate from PLN hurts. Contabo's 4 EUR VPS is real though, I use it for monitoring. Not relevant to thread, sorry.

In Ho Chi Minh City ambient is 32C average, my Supermicro X10SDV-8C runs at 52C idle with Noctua fans at 3200 RPM. I could go lower but I value stability over silence, power outages here are common and the server needs to survive no-AC hours. Wendy your 47C gives me hope, maybe I try your thresholds after rainy season ends.
