Wait I never said where my "budget place" was
It was InterServer, 2021. CEO was in tickets constantly, even did custom kernel patches for people. Felt amazing right up until the day they just... stopped. No announcement, panel down, whole ASN gone
So yeah I might be biased but 3am regex from a CEO makes my stomach drop now

The "founder magic" phase
That phrase is painfully accurate
I had the same thing with Hetzner years back, founder in Discord at 2am fixing my cert
Six months later the Discord was a ghost town and my cert expired for three days
The regex thing actually worries me more than the 3am thing
If the CEO is still writing the port forwarding logic himself, that's not "small and cares"
That's "we never built the actual product"
Still with InterServer though, tomchan?
