I run 52 boxes and I just ran the math

  • InterServer BF: $12/yr = 8GB RAM = $1.50/GB/year
  • OVHcloud summer deal: €4/mo = 1GB RAM = €48/GB/year
  • Vultr: $2.80/GB/year
  • That random Hostinger flash sale: $1.80/GB/year but only 1G port

This is literally the cheapest $/GB/RAM I've seen since 2022

Ordered 5x 4GB plans. Gonna use them for:

  • 2x idle Minecraft servers nobody plays
  • 1x "production" Grafana I check twice a year
  • 1x VPN exit node
  • 1x??? (RAM disk memtest maybe? )

Does the double ram apply if I buy monthly instead of yearly?? I only have $4 in my account right now and I dont get paid till next week 😅

Also is there any way to upgrade later or do I need to pick the plan now

The payment it is confirmed but in my panel I see only 2GB, not 4GB. It is possible to do that? I use the code BFRAM of course
