I am from Kerala and I run this on a raspberry pi at home for monitoring my uncle's shop website. 30s is too fast for mobile data, I changed to 5min and it works. Consensus still good because Jio has bad routing sometimes.

Following. I have been using UptimeRobot paid plan for years and the false positive rate is maybe 1 in 20 alerts. Not terrible but at 3am that is terrible. Will test this on a non-critical host first.
Same here.
Provider fixed it. 47 minutes downtime. Upbeacon alerted at 2 min, their status page updated at 38 min. This is why we can't have nice things.
Has anyone compared this to healthchecks.io? Different model (you ping them, not they ping you) but similar goal of reducing noise. I use both now, healthchecks for cron jobs, upbeacon for external reachability.
