Has anyone compared this to healthchecks.io? Different model (you ping them, not they ping you) but similar goal of reducing noise. I use both now, healthchecks for cron jobs, upbeacon for external reachability.

Which Hostinger plan?

Storage box for CI cache is interesting. How do you mount it? SSHFS or rclone?

Vultr bare metal allows iPXE. I have used it. The 120 USD tier, Stockholm. Real hardware, real iPXE, real pain when I misconfigured and had to open ticket. But they did not fake anything.

Fair. I got in during a rare restock. Point stands though: the hosts that do not advertise are the ones worth finding.

Because everyone reading "best RackNerd" lists already has ten VPS. The funnel is other deal hunters, not actual new customers.

Same sequence I ran through in 2022. Ended up on a BuyVM slice in Las Vegas that outlasted all of them for raw stability. Not the fastest, not the cheapest, just refuses to die.

I migrated everything to Hetzner Cloud last year after my third budget host "restructured" in six months. The difference in support response time alone is worth 3x the price. For a static site you could also just use Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages and be done with it. Zero dollars, infinite uptime...
