Look, I know how this sounds. Contabo is €2/month. Two dollars. I have personal blog there, few side projects, nothing critical. Uptime is... okay? Not great. But for price I cannot complain too much.

Support though. Catastrophic. Sent ticket yesterday about SSL issue. Still waiting. Made test order on OVHcloud same day, they resolved in two hours. But OVHcloud costs 4x more!

For learning, for experiments, for things you can lose? Contabo works. I hate saying this because I know someone will host something important there. Please don't. But for broke developer with weekend project? Is fine.

I keep backup on my home NAS. Obviously. Not crazy.

I cannot tell or you are serious about recommending this, or whether you enjoy watching people suffer. How do you say... "mixed take" means "I know this is bad but I did it anyway"? Very helpful, clearly.
