Oracle free tier is not a host, it is a lottery. I know three people who woke up to terminated accounts.
I use Netcup and Hetzner. German companies, German laws, my data stays in EU. This matters now.

I use Leaseweb for work, TransIP for personal. Both Dutch, both fine. 4 hosts total in five years.
I've used 6. The worst was a Hostinger shared plan that throttled me at 100 concurrent connections. "Unlimited" my ass.
Now on Vultr 4GB at 24/month. Expensive but I sleep.
Shared hosting is lie. Always lie.
"Unlimited" until you use it. Then they explain limit with many words.
Bare metal. One machine. You use 100% CPU 24 hours, nobody knocks door.

I host for clients in Buenos Aires. 8 hosts in 5 years, but 4 are for clients who insist on local providers.
Local hosts here: expensive, slow tickets, but clients want .ar domain and local IP for SEO. I charge extra for the pain.
My own stuff is on Vultr São Paulo. Same continent, better price.

Hostinger, ResellerClub, Namecheap, then the cheap ones for price-sensitive clients. Contabo for storage — https://contabo.com/en/vps/. RackNerd when they have sale.
Best margin is selling 10/month plan I buy at 3. Worst is client who wants cPanel and pays nothing.
Reseller is different. You are not choosing for you, you are choosing for 50 people who complain.
