Same ISIC problem here in Hungary. The .edu requirement is very US-centric. I just used my girlfriend's Erasmus email from ELTE, worked fine. Not exactly scalable though.
How I stack coupons for 60% off first year
Interesting about the rate limit. I did mine manually with gaps between steps, maybe that's why I slipped through. Or they only flag rapid API hits not normal browser flow.
Speaking of Hostinger's Phoenix datacenter, latency to my San Jose apartment is worse than their Singapore node somehow. Traceroute goes through Dallas for some reason. Anyone else seeing weird routing?
From Buenos Aires the Sao Paulo DC is obviously best but their pricing shows in USD which hurts with the exchange rate. 2.94 sounds amazing, that's like 2800 pesos now, used to be 600. Inflation is the real enemy.
Concordo. Mesmo em real, Hostinger cobra em dolar. Acabei indo pra um provedor local em SP que fatura em BRL, sai mais barato mesmo sem stack.
Pauloserver qual provedor? To pagando caro demais na conversao
Also from SP here. I use Hostinger anyway because their Mumbai to Sao Paulo latency is actually decent for game servers I run. Local host had better price but worse international routing. Tradeoffs.
As someone who runs a bakery and somehow also servers, I need to ask: does Hostinger's email hosting stack with the VPS coupons? My business email is $6/mo separate from my website plan and it adds up.
CS student in Ottawa, can confirm Carleton .edu works for Hostinger student discount. Also tried on DigitalOcean, they don't stack at all, just pick best single code. So this is genuinely Hostinger-specific behaviour.
Jab823's RackNerd story is why I always use virtual cards for first-time stacks. Privacy.com or similar. If they cancel post-payment you just disable the card, no chargeback drama.
