Following this thread. I run similar setup for domain price tracking at a few registrars, problem is parallel. If anyone has a clean abstraction for "check this CSS selector and log the text" that works across sites I'd be interested. My current code is 80% copy-paste with different selectors.

Here in Argentina we have the opposite problem: the government sets electricity price and it changes only every 6 months by decree. Very stable, very unpredictable in direction. I am pay in pesos for local colo and the real cost in USD goes down because inflation is faster than the tariff increase....

From Buenos Aires the Sao Paulo DC is obviously best but their pricing shows in USD which hurts with the exchange rate. 2.94 sounds amazing, that's like 2800 pesos now, used to be 600. Inflation is the real enemy.

I am in Buenos Aires. The latency to Los Angeles is already bad, now it is worse because my CloudCone VPS routes through Denver for some reason. Traceroute shows Cogent to Denver, then back to LA. Fire damage to routing?
