As said, I moved from Contabo to Vultr last month. "Free migration of your site" in the promo email. I have:
- 1 main domain
- 47 addon domains (client projects, personal experiments)
- ~12 GB total
- cPanel backup, standard structure
Mid-transfer, ticket update: "your plan includes migration of one site." The remaining 46 would be $15 each. $705 total. To be honest, I laughed.
TOS defines "site" as "a single unique domain name and its associated files." Technically, grammatically, singular. Their interpretation holds water. Morally? This is a deals forum. We read "site" as "account" or "everything I have here."
I paid for 5 more, moved the rest myself. But the TOS-as-trapdoor pattern needs naming. Anyone else hit definitional gotchas?
