Email deliverability on Contabo IP range

I may be wrong, but my transactional emails from HostHatch IP block are landing in spam at Gmail and Outlook. SPF, DKIM, DMARC all pass.

Tested with mail-tester.com: 8.5/10. Yet Gmail throws to Promotions or Spam inconsistently.

IP reputation on SenderScore: 72. Not terrible, not great.

Is this specific range blacklisted? I checked Spamhaus, not listed. But reputation seems damaged from previous tenants.

Anyone else on 173.x.x.x range seeing this? I prefer Asia-Pacific locations usually, but this was budget project.

I had similar issue with Leaseweb last year... never figured it out... moved to dedicated IP and problem stayed... so maybe not IP at all... maybe content... maybe headers... hard to say...

Bro my server down since yesterday on same range... not email though... but Important to know... IP reputation bad since long time... I try for 3 days to fix... no luck...

You check DNS? SPF record correct?

I had this exact thing happen with CloudCone and it turned out to be the from name matching a spam campaign from 2019 I never would have found it without checking every header field against spamassassin rules manually the ip was fine the content was fine the reputation was fine it was literally just a display name collision

Gmail is weird. They dont publish rules. Could be engagement. Could be domain age. Could be anything. I stopped trying to guess. Switched to dedicated provider for transactional. Never looked back...

Check your resolver first. Propagation matters.

dig txt example.com

Also check reverse DNS. Many forget PTR record. TTL on PTR can be 24-48 hours even after you set it.

I traced route for stranger last week, same issue, their resolver was caching old SPF.

It's 2026. CGNAT is abuse. Your IPv4 reputation problem wouldn't exist on IPv6 because every endpoint gets clean addresses.

Contabo offers native IPv6, no NAT. Your deliverability issues trace directly to IPv4 scarcity forcing dirty shared pools.

It's 2026. Why are we still discussing legacy protocol email delivery?

Contabo native IPv6? Since when do they offer email.
