Contabo '24/7 support' took four days

Hetzner has Helsinki and Nuremberg. For EU it's fine, for Asia you want something local. I use OVHcloud Gravelines for EU and Contabo Singapore for APAC. Different providers for different regions, obvious really.

I don't wait. I have two of everything and failover scripts that page me. Support is for billing, not broken servers.

Do your pages have NTP sync? I've seen pagerduty alerts off by minutes because the clock drifted. Chaos.

Chrony with GPS disciplined oscillator. Sub-millisecond. My clocks are fine, my sleep schedule is the casualty.

I had Contabo support answer in 45 minutes last Tuesday. VPS M in Vienna, which routes through Munich I think? Maybe it's datacenter dependent. Singapore might be understaffed.

Jane_ffm has contacted me via DM and clarified the situation. The delay was caused by an edge filter flagging my domain's MX record as suspicious, which routed my ticket to a manual review queue. This has been resolved and the guarantee credit is being applied to my next invoice. I consider this matter closed and thank those who offered constructive assistance.

What was the final outcome? Did they give the credit?
