To those inquiring: the service in question is the Cloud VPS S, 4 vCPU and 8GB RAM, located in their Singapore datacenter. I did verify the email address prior to submission. The ticket number I provided is precisely as it appeared in the automated response. I find the suggestion that I fabricated it somewhat puzzling.
Contabo '24/7 support' took four days
So not the 512MB plan then. HeadRich theory disproven.
Not disproven, refined. 8GB is still budget tier in my book. Try waiting four days with a 64GB dedi, won't happen.
I had a Cloud VPS S in Singapore too. Took them six hours when I locked myself out with a bad nftables rule. Four days sounds like either they never got it or your account has some flag on it.
I think you mean mediaaustin. And the format is correct, I verified it in our system. FM-YYYY-MMDD-NNNN is right. FM-2025-0905-7781 follows that pattern. The ticket exists and is assigned to me now.
@FyreJun I DM'd you.
Mediaaustin my mistake. Jane_ffm thanks for confirming.
Well I'll be. I parsed it wrong in my head, 0905 looked like a month-day swap but it's September fifth. My bad. Still say check the spam folder though.
Still the best advice in the thread.
Five days was on a 2GB plan in their Munich datacenter. No explanation given, ticket just sat there. Eventually they answered and fixed it, but the guarantee meant nothing. I moved to Hetzner for that project.
Hetzner is good sir but no Singapore datacenter yes? For Asia Contabo still better choice I think.
