Thanks. I am on 0.16.2 and having prune issues on ARM64. Will upgrade.

70% seems high
I get 40% on mixed workloads. 70% only if you have lots of identical VMs.

I use Kopia now. Started with restic, switched because Kopia's UI made policy management easier across ten nodes. Same repo backend, S3-compatible. Server-side on Wasabi, $7/TB.

Wasabi has no egress fees which matters when you restore. But their minimum 90-day retention means deleted snapshots still cost. Factor that in.

Wasabi also has a 1TB minimum per bucket if you read the fine print. For 10 small VPS, you might not hit that and still pay for it. Backblaze B2 is more honest: $0.005/GB storage, $0.01/GB egress. No minimums.

I have measured actual restore costs. Backblaze is cheaper below 2TB, Wasabi wins above.

HostHatch storage instance in EU
HostHatch storage VPS in Zurich is out of stock since March. Amsterdam and Singapore have availability. I asked support, no ETA on Zurich.

Their storage line is good value but the "storage VPS" vs "VPS with big disk" distinction matters for IOPS. Check which you are getting.
