Falkenstein and Nuremberg are both EU. Helsinki too. What do you mean "waiting"? They have been there forever. Maybe you mean Asia? Singapore is their only APAC location.
This is exactly the problem. "Hetzner partner location" is not a Hetzner datacenter. It is someone else's rack with Contabo's support layer on top. The Ampere boxes I care about need bare metal, not nested virtualization pretending to be dedicated.
Real Ampere at Hetzner only: their cloud ARM64 is virtual. You want the real thing you go to OVHcloud or Oracle Cloud.

Oracle Cloud free tier ARM is the best kept secret still. 4 ARM cores + 24GB RAM forever free if you can get capacity. I have had mine 18 months. Forum noise about it died because everyone who wanted one already has one, and everyone who does not gave up on the capacity roulette.
I counted July 2023 vs July 2025. 34 vs 11. Not as dramatic as you claim but directionally correct. The missing threads were mostly "my VPS is down" panic posts that now go straight to vendor Discord. Signal to noise improved if you ask me.

In Vietnam TikTok live selling server is real now. I buy 2-core 4GB VM for 150,000 VND/month from provider who stream setup process live. No forum, no Discord, just chat in live and they send login after. Young customer no use forum.

This. Also the reason nobody talks about it anymore: it just works. Boring infrastructure is good infrastructure. Forums thrive on drama and deal scarcity. Oracle has neither.
