Cheap VPS in Tokyo or Singapore — who is decent right now? · VPS Hosting

What about UpCloud? They have SG and Tokyo, hourly billing, custom plans. Not the cheapest but very consistent performance.

Magicmahdi. I read TOS for mahdi reasons. Just kidding. I don't read. But this thread convinced me to check one thing: can I export my data?

My email provider: TOS says "you may download your data via standard protocols." IMAP is standard. Good.
My cloud storage: "export via web interface." 1GB at...

Why do providers hide the real renewal price? · VPS Hosting

Has anyone tried just asking sales for a 3-year lock? I did this with KnownHost for a managed VPS. Got the promo rate frozen for 36 months in exchange for annual prepay. Not published on their site, but sales agreed in writing.
