GreenCloudVPS is fine for normal VPS. They have Amsterdam, Tokyo, the normal datacenters. The "residential" thing olya found was a different scam using similar name. Confusing but not same company.

I use their storage VPS in LA for backups. $15/year. Works.

I had the same .io shock at Contabo, no warning at all.

What about threads where the company changed TOS? Old thread says "unmetered" new TOS says "fair use." Necro without reading gets people burned. Not all context ages well.

I think OVHcloud has the right idea - with great RAM comes great responsibility
