What dnsperf version? There was a bug in 2.5.0-2.5.2 with TCP mode reporting inflated numbers. UDP default is fine but worth checking.

Roku is the worst for this. Also PlayStation Network. You can game over IPv6 but downloads and party chat route through IPv4 endpoints. Sony has had IPv6 on their roadmap since 2017 according to a blog post I cannot find anymore.

I gave up and run dual stack at home. The IPv6-only experiment lasted...

Has anyone compared the actual drop times across backorder services? I tested SnapNames vs DropCatch vs Pool on three .com domains last month. SnapNames got two, Pool got one. All charged $59 whether they succeeded or not. Seems like the same underlying registry access tier to me.
