Following this thread because I have a 2019 VirMach plan that somehow still renews at $6.50/year. The control panel is a custom URL that does not resolve to anything public. I only know it works because the PayPal subscription emails still come.

Option 1 is just more work for the same free cert. I'd rather pay the 60 EUR/year for a wildcard and sleep.
