systemd or OpenRC on your VPS? · VPS Hosting

Birmingham UK, running systemd on a Bytemark VM and systemd on a local Proxmox box. Never even seen an OpenRC template from a UK provider. Is it actually offered anywhere mainstream or is this a self-install thing?

Has anyone tried their New York zone for .io? I know the registry is UK but transatlantic routing can be weird.

This. I run s6 on 256MB Alpine at Mythic Beasts in London. Zero issues. Systemd is desktop software, fight me.

Also RamNode OpenVZ is dead platform. They keep it for old customers. KVM or leave.
