Vultr Atlanta to Tokyo is 145ms, not relevant to this thread but I tested it anyway. Their network is solid everywhere I've tried.

Monthly for anything new, but I did 3-year prepay with Linode back in 2019 before the Akamai thing. Still running, still solid. Would I do it today? Probably not. The acquisition changed something in the support quality.

Cert good for hr. Skill good for job. Both okay. Perkele. Cert no substitute for broken production at 3am. But cert gets you to 3am shift. Network okay.

Atlanta here. Contabo St. Louis is 12ms. UptimeRobot from their Virginia probe hits it fine. Free tier enough for "is it up."
