Linode is reliable, overpriced for personal use. You're paying for support you don't need for a Valheim server. Same reason I left DigitalOcean.

The "gaming host" premium is support + control panel + DDoS + brand. If you can handle Linux, you don't need any of that.

I would reinstall manually and move on. Your time has value.

For WordPress, Ubuntu LTS has better community documentation in my experience. I prefer OVHcloud or HostHatch for Asia-Pacific locations.

RunCloud is fine until you need to debug why nginx randomly 502s at 2am. Then you miss cPanel's "fix everything" button that usually breaks more but at least feels like action.
