Following this thread. I have a RackNerd VPS in Chicago, not colo, but now I'm wondering about the power story there too.

Out-of-band on what, iDRAC or IPMI?

Did we ever establish what datacenter this is in? 1000 days uptime means no power event at that location in over two years. My money is on Los Angeles or Dallas, those seem to be the most stable for budget hosts. Ashburn has had too much construction-related power work.

What about BuyVM? They have a Luxembourg location and Fran has said publicly they do not care about legal content. "If it is legal in Luxembourg and does not get us in trouble, host it." I have seen the IRC log.

They are out of stock on everything always though.
