Blog post or not, the real question is why anyone in Southeast Asia would wait 14 months for European cabinet space. Contabo's Singapore DC opened years ago. Did you check there or were you set on Germany for latency reasons?

Anyone using Wasabi instead of Hetzner for the backend? I know Hetzner Storage is cheap but the egress from Philippines to Falkenstein is painful. Wasabi has no egress fees at all.

Downside is no EU datacenter, but for personal logs who cares.
