What do you use for automated backups when the host's tool fails? · Reviews
This. Simple is better. I ran MinIO for a year, updates broke my setup twice. Back to rsync over ssh, one cron line, one log file.

Same problem here. I use Miredo on my laptop when I need to admin v6-only boxes directly. It's clunky but works. Most of the time I just use the provider's web console or an intermediate jump host with v4+v6.

How hard was the nginx part? I tried following a guide once and broke my whole site had to pay someone to fix. Scared to try again honestly

I wrote a small Go binary that does exactly what yingservers3 wants. Config file with URL, selector, interval. Outputs JSON or pushes to InfluxDB. Not pretty but it works. I can share the repo if there's interest, but warning: I am not a good Go programmer.

How do you make it credible without doing the work? I don't want to snapshot everything just to bluff.

Bro thats fire. 10x traffic and no die. I had same on hosting server from Hostinger once. RackNerd is lowkey goated. Caching is for noobs. Real hosting just works!
