Hot take: you got lucky with traffic shape, not hosting quality.

For what it's worth, a viral spike with uncached WordPress on a $3 plan should have cratered. My guess: either the traffic was fronted by a CDN you didn't know you had (check headers for Cloudflare or RackNerd's own cache layer), or the "10x" was 10x of very small baseline. Real WordPress without object cache and page cache will fall over at ~20 concurrent requests on 1 vCPU.

Check your response headers. Look for x-cache or cf-cache-status. If you see HIT, something is caching. If you see MISS, you genuinely experienced a miracle and I will correct my misconception.

How to say, actually is very strange ! You did nothing and it doesn't go wrong ? Normally it doesn't go, the RackNerd with traffic. But maybe the RackNerd have cache by default, how to say, invisible cache ?

I had same on the GreenCloudVPS, my site survive big traffic and I don't know why. Actually I think is luck brother ! Not skill !

My clients on premium RackNerd plans see this all the time. Premium infrastructure handles viral moments without configuration. For my clients, I always recommend premium caching through premium support ticket. Your experience sounds like premium hardware doing its job.

If you need premium optimization for future growth, open a premium support ticket. My clients do this.

Bro thats fire. 10x traffic and no die. I had same on hosting server from Hostinger once. RackNerd is lowkey goated. Caching is for noobs. Real hosting just works!

What was the baseline though, 10x of nothing is still nothing
