Your 'price lock' excludes control panel, SSL, and backups

I migrated a client to Vultr on their "price lock guarantee." To be honest, I did not read the exclusions appendix. The invoice structure after month three:

  • VPS: locked at €4.00
  • cPanel: €12.50 (increased from €10.00)
  • SSL: €2.99 (was "included")
  • Backups: €3.00 (new line item)

The guarantee covers compute only. As said, this is technically disclosed. Practically, the total increased 34% while the "locked" portion stayed flat. I have since mapped twelve common exclusions across providers. The only true all-inclusive lock I found was Hostinger, whose site crashed this morning under traffic from this forum.

Direct pragmatism: read the appendix.

The appendix (which no one reads (including me (I once agreed to a TOS that probably gave away my firstborn (nested liability)))) is where they hide the real price (the "lock" is just a marketing lock (on your attention (not your wallet))) and Hostinger (bless their naive hearts (actually offering everything)) couldn't handle the load (ironic (predictable (we are the stress test they didn't ask for)))

push. done. coffee.

Vultr here too xd , this same thing happen to me, price lock is only for vps, not for panel, I check Hostinger before, their "all-inclusive" was real, I wanted to buy, but site is down now, xd, this is funny, I think they have too small team for this traffic, xd

POLISH SERVERS. LOUD FANS. GOOD PRICE.
