Your comparison table lies about competitor pricing

The ticket said: "Your marketing page contains materially inaccurate competitor pricing." The response said: "We'll look into it."

That was June 15. Today, August 23, InterServer edited their /compare page without changelog or acknowledgment. But I have screenshots and Wayback Machine archives.

Specific fiction:
- Vultr "starting at $12/mo" — actually $7, I verified with their sales chat
- OVHcloud "no DDoS protection" — they have standard 500Gbps filtering, I have traceroutes
- HostHatch "cPanel only" — they offer DirectAdmin and plain Debian

The table inflated rival prices 40-70% to make InterServer's "equivalent" plans appear competitive. This is not omission, it is fabrication.

I host with none of these providers. I just hate liars. The Wayback archive is here: web.archive.org/web/20260626000000*/interserver.net/compare

InterServer: your move. The ticket number is #481516.

reported. resolved. repeat.

Obviously InterServer made honest mistake, how do you say, "competitor prices fluctuate daily" /s

Or they hired intern who cannot use calculator? Clearly the $12 vs $7 is rounding error, no? In some universe where 7 rounds to 12.

I check your archive, very thorough. Obviously you have too much free time, this is compliment. /s

The "no DDoS protection" is my favorite. OVHcloud has anycast, has scrubbing, has published post about 800Gbps attack last year. But InterServer says "no protection". Maybe they mean "no protection we can acknowledge without looking stupid" /s
