Been running my static blog on a $3 HostHatch VPS for two years. Tried Cloudflare, tried GreenCloudVPS's built-in CDN, always end up tearing it out. Adds DNS complexity, cache purge headaches, and for what? My peak traffic is 200 visitors, mostly from same country. Latency improvement is maybe 30ms. Origin serves fine!
For personal projects under 1k daily hits, CDN feels like premature optimization. Am I missing something obvious? Cheers!

My clients expect premium experience regardless of scale. I put all my clients on Cloudflare Pro minimum, it's premium protection. If they have issues they open support ticket with me and I handle it. For personal blog? Still premium, brand matters. My clients sleep well.
