net: 89mbit to EU, 45mbit to Asia3-year lock with that disk? No thanks. Decent disk IO, meh network.

IMO both sides have merit. YMMV depending on your cash flow and risk tolerance. Monthly costs more but the flexibility is worth it for hobby projects, take it with a grain of salt.
