YABS vs Geekbench vs fio—my synthetic benchmark bloodbath

Ran all three on the same Contabo 2-core/4GB box this morning. YMMV, but IMO the variance was striking enough to share.

YABS: 1.2 GB/s disk, 45k multi-core GB6
Geekbench 6: 38k multi-core, "745" for disk (their 0-1000 scale?)
fio 4k randread: 180k IOPS, 720 MB/s

Same NVMe, same kernel, 5-minute gap between runs. Take it with a grain of salt, but how do you all reconcile these when comparing providers? I lean toward fio for storage and YABS for the aggregate picture, but the Geekbench disk score might as well be a random number generator.

No strong preference, just curious about methodology.

This is why I don't trust synthetic benchmark no more caramba!

My VPS it crashed one time because I am run fio with too many job, the provider send me email "you are abuse the node"

More fast is not always more good, he? Nossa! I just want to know if my KnownHost box can run my database, not to win olympic of number
