Running quick survey here. We see lots of complaints about renewal hikes, so I am curious: would you pay 40% more upfront if provider guaranteed price lock for life of service?
Made test order last week with new host and renewal was double. Sent ticket yesterday, no answer yet. Very frustrating!
For me, I think yes. Stability matters for budgeting. But maybe I am crazy?
Please vote and say why. Cheers!

For that money you get a used Dell R730 with 8x4TB SAS and still have change for drives next year. Price lock sounds nice until the host folds.
- Hardware depreciates 20-30% yearly
- Your "locked" plan becomes unmaintainable
- Provider either dies or finds loophole
Seen it with auction servers. Lock means nothing if company restructures.
