I am buy yesterday a 2GB box at Time4VPS for €18/yr for my grandma so I can remote helb her. Then I am look at Windows Serber license and it is $120/yr xixixi. The VPS is cheaber than the license lah. I am think to use pirated but my cousin is say no no no. What to do? I am install Debian with GUI but grandma is conpused. Need simple remote. TeamViewer is exbensive too. Chrome Remote Desktop is bree? I am try now xixixi.

- RustDesk: $0, self-hostable, I run relay on 256MB box
- AnyDesk: $0 personal, $/GB/RAM worse than your whole setup
Your $18 + $0 beats $18 + $120 by... all the percents.
Joy's grandma needs her own thing? Chur. Chrome Remote Desktop is the way eh? My mum uses it, no dramas. The linux thing with gui is too much hassle for them? Just works better.
Hej, I am put Chrome Remote Desktop on server for my mother too, is good, no license problem. Into config you need only download .deb, install, done. No Windows, no SPLA, no headache. Malý server with Debian and XFCE, hej? No articles needed, works same.
What cpu on that 2GB Time4VPS box, xeon or ryzen
