Is draw 28kW when full load, but my server room is small, is not full load. Meter say 18-22kW average. The electricity in Buenos Aires is... okay price. Is not Germany price. Is maybe 0.04 dollar per kWh if you have commercial rate. I have commercial rate.
0.04 per kWh? I'm paying almost 0.35 EUR in Amsterdam. No wonder this math works for you. Here the scrap unit would cost more in electricity than new colo.
The real question is what happens when you need to leave that building. You own this thing now. You can't just unplug and walk away like a Contabo contract.

Following. I also want cheap cooling but I rent, is problem. The landlord see 20-ton unit and I am evicted.
Did anyone else notice the Contabo colo quote? 2k EUR for 20 tons? That seems high even for them. Or was that mateo_dragon converting from pesos weird?
