Measured. Nagios + external uptime checker
Hej, you measure from outside, I respect this. But 4 minute is still not three nines. Three nines is 8.76 hour per year, you are better than this. You are maybe six nines if only 4 minute.
I think you are too hard on yourself. Or you want to be too hard on us.

Eight nines is 2.6 milliseconds per year. Let's not start this.

Your one nine is 87 hour? That is almost 4 day
Yes, I know. But my RackNerd VPS is 12 dollar per year. If down 4 day, I lose what? Maybe 2 order from warung client. They do not even notice, they WhatsApp me "web slow" I say "try again tomorrow."
I want three nines, yes. But I do not want to pay Hetzner price for three nines. Hetzner is good, I know, but my client pay me 300 thousand rupiah per month for hosting. I cannot spend 20 dollar on server alone.
This is reality for many in SEA. We make do.

That's like... 18 CAD? And you're hosting for them too? Man.
I'm over here stressing about my 7 CAD/month DigitalOcean droplet for a portfolio site nobody visits. Perspective.

DO is fine but if you're just doing static portfolio, Cloudflare Pages or GitHub Pages is zero dollars and more reliable than anything we're discussing. I moved my inference API docs there last year, forgot about them, they have not been down.
The real cost is the custom domain, not the hosting.
