So I want to subnet my homelab properly and I need a slash forty eight for all my vlans and containers and vms and iot junk and my isp wont give me more than a slash sixty four and I heard Contabo does routing but I dont know if they do ipv6 blocks or if I need to go to ripe or arin or what and I saw something about tunnel brokers but latency matters for my game servers so whats the actual cheapest way to get portable ipv6 space as a person not a company I cant find straight answers anywhere

BROOOO

Contabo /48 = EUR 4/MO ARE YOU KIDDING ME

SNAPPED IT UP in 2024, was EUR 6 before that, tracked it on my spreadsheet

OVHcloud also does /44 for like €15 but thats overkill unless youre reselling

world record: 4min Arch install

Anyway I tried getting PI space from ripe as individual last year

Idk why I do this but heres the rejection email basically

inet6num:       2001:db8::/32
status:         REJECTED
remarks:        natural persons not eligible

Spent 3 nights on that application.

Tunnel broker from Hetzner works fine though, 3ms added, not bad for free

builds at 3AM, sleeps at noon
