So I did a thing. Client getting 200 spam/day through spamassassin, sa-learn trained, bayes at 0.95, still garbage. Anyway, idk why I do this but I set up rspamd on a 3am whim and false positives dropped like 80%? Idk why I do this.

Made a quick poll since I'm curious what everyone else runs. Options:

  • SpamAssassin (default pain)
  • Rspamd (my new friend)
  • MailScanner (old school?)
  • Proxmox Mail Gateway (someone mentioned)
  • Cloud filter (Leaseweb has one?)
  • Just suffer (valid)

Also accidentally blacklisted myself testing yesterday.

Lol ngl I just use whatever the panel gives me. Running some LLM inference on the side so my mailserver gets like 5% attention. Rspamd sounds nice tho, less ram than SA? My vram math says every mb counts when you're squeezing 7B models into 8gb

Voted rspamd, trusting the 3am wisdom
