The soapy taste overwhelms every dish it touches, and I have long framed this as a personal failing rather than biology. To be precise, I have forced myself to eat it at social gatherings to avoid appearing difficult.
I am curious whether others here carry similar burdens. Foods you avoid not because of principle, but because your body simply revolts. I would prefer strategies that do not draw attention, as I find explanations often lead to unwanted sympathy or pressure to try "just a little."
