The 5950X is good chip but power hungry. The board you have, does it have the 8+4 pin CPU power? Hetzner PSU maybe only 8 pin. Check this also before all the flash trouble.

Thank you JoshTier, I check this. The PSU is from old server, Hetzner EX42. I think 8 pin only. The ASUS board has 8+4. Maybe this is another problem.

I am looking now the ASRock Rack board that beto60 says. More expensive but maybe less headache in total.

Can someone tell me: if I change to ASRock Rack X570D4U-2L2T, this has IPMI for sure? I want no more surprise.

ASRock Rack X570D4U-2L2T has IPMI yes, with dedicated Realtek NIC for it. The 2L2T means two 1GbE for system, two 10GbE for data. The IPMI is separate port, not shared. This is the good way.

But check the Hetzner case size. This board is micro-ATX, the ASUS is ATX. The EX42 case maybe not fit micro-ATX, or maybe fit with different holes. I don't know Hetzner case details.

Also the IPMI need cable to network. If Hetzner switch is not configured for extra port, you need ask them. More trouble maybe.
