I have like 15 VPS it running right now, caramba! My system is very crazy, I use the spreadsheet but he dont alert me, my VPS it expired last month and I lose money nossa! I try more fast methods but nothing work good. You use what? I think maybe calendar but he too simple for my brain I need something with color and noise!
To be precise, I use a local Nextcloud instance with calendar sharing disabled, as the GDPR implications of cloud-based reminder services are not fully resolved in my jurisdiction. I track six active promos. Simple, effective, no external dependencies.
The ticket said... "your monitoring system triggered 47 alerts for expired deals." I once had a user who scripted coupon checks every 15 minutes. The abuse report wrote itself. 47 entries is either impressive or a cry for help. The ticket said it was both.

47 entries is actually a solid error budget for deal tracking. I run blameless postmortems on every missed expiration—transparency with myself about why I missed the promo window. Usually it's alert fatigue. My current system: calendar for dates, spreadsheet for terms, manual check weekly. Transparency: I still miss one or two yearly. We all have outages.
Just use cron
Skill issue if you need 47 entries. Calendar + one bash script. Done. You people and your "systems" lol
