What do you use for IRR database management?

Has anyone tried the RADb API that they supposedly launched? I say supposedly because I registered for access six months ago and never heard back. Maybe they only approve certain account types.

Their documentation mentions REST but gives no examples. Typical.

Same here. I think they want you to be a paying RADb customer with a certain tier, not just someone with legacy objects. I gave up and went back to selenium scraping my own dashboard, which breaks every time they redesign.

At least their redesigns are rare. Small blessings.

I just discovered that ARIN has an IRR now, actual IRR not just whois. Has anyone used it? Is it less painful than RADb?

I only have ARIN space so if it's decent I could migrate away from RADb entirely and stop paying them.

It's been there since 2021 or so but uptake is slow. Most filters still query RADb and RIPE primarily. If your upstreams don't check ARIN-IRR you gain nothing by publishing there.

Check with your top 10 peers where they query. If even one doesn't support ARIN-IRR you're stuck with RADb for that prefix.

I'm sorry, I think I clicked the wrong thread. I was looking for help with my WordPress contact form. Good luck with your internet routing though, sounds complicated.

frames, tables, still valid HTML

I feel this in my soul. I run my own IRRd instance for internal documentation but for publication I still use the RIPE web interface. At least it is in French if I change my browser language, which makes the suffering slightly poetic.

Has anyone tested the new RIPE web updates they promised for 2024? I see no difference.
